Fasnacht at Ängel oder Aff
A few steps from the Marktplatz, in the middle of the old town: when piccolos and drums fill the lanes, we're right in it. Warm up with a coffee after the Morgestraich, have a mulled wine between the parades or meet your clique for an apéro.

Good to know
Monday, 15 February
- 4 am
- Morgestraich: the lights go out, the lanterns come on and the cliques march through the old town.
- from 1:30 pm
- Cortège, the big parade through the city centre.
- in the evening
- Lantern exhibition on Münsterplatz (until Tuesday evening).
Tuesday, 16 February
- in the afternoon
- Children's and family Fasnacht.
- in the evening
- Gugge concerts on Marktplatz, Barfüsserplatz and Claraplatz.
Wednesday, 17 February
- from 1:30 pm
- Second Cortège.
Thursday, 18 February
- 4 am
- Endstraich: Fasnacht is over until next year.
- Wear a Blaggedde: the Fasnacht badge supports the cliques.
- Costumes are for the participants. As a spectator, come in your normal clothes.
- Don't pick confetti up off the ground to throw it, and leave the cliques room to pass.
